Types Of Mustaches

No man's facial hair grows the same way. Some can grow a full, thick mustache, and some can't. The same goes for beards and sideburns. Some have a prefered style they like to groom and shape their mustache, and some just go with what they naturally have. 
Here is a list of a few different types of mustache that I've come across;

Handlebar 

This is a style that was very popular in the  Victorian era. but it is not as pointed in the middle, towards the nose. It is a thick, wide mustache with the ends slightly curved and going upwards. 
The English mustache is very similar, but the ends are straight.

Chevron

Wide and  thick mustache, usually covering the upper lip. Mostly worn in the 1970's and 80's.

Dali

Salvador Dali's signature mustache. Thin, narrow, pointy and long. Those who wear this style have to shave the end of the mustache.

Fu Manchu

The name came from a fictional comic character.This style is popular among Asian countries; Mongols brought it to China. The hair goes straight downwards and is usually very long, below the chin.

Horseshoe

This style requires hair going down the sides, from the upper lip down to the jawline. The name came from it's shape - a horseshoe.

Lampshade

Unlike the Chevron, this type of mustache is cut just above the lip and it shouldn't pass that lenght. Also, the shape resembles the lampshade.

Toothbrush

This mustache is quite thick, but the hair is only covering the centre of the upper lip. Charlie Chaplin and Adolf Hitler used to wear this style.
